Regarding James Ford producing Klaxons' second record:

He told Newsbeat: "I think they're still trying to push forward so I don't think it's going to sound too much like the last record." ...

Ford said: "They're trying to keep it melodic and vocal because that's one of their great strong points.

"It's going to be really exciting."

Regarding the Last Shadow Puppets:

Ford produced The Last Shadow Puppets' self-titled debut album and played the drums during their sets at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend. You might remember that James was the drummer for Simian.


Regarding a new Simian Mobile Disco album:

Ford also revealed his own band, SMD, are working on getting an album out towards the end of the year.

He said: "We've already done a track with Gruff Rhys from the Super Furry Animals, which is great, and one with Beth Ditto from The Gossip.

"It's looking good so far."
